Order A Repeat Prescriptions

Ordering your repeat prescription electronically:
You may order your repeat prescriptions ONLINE 24 hours a day through our online facility, EMISaccess. It is fast and simple to use as you will be able to view a list of your regular medication and select what you need rather than having to write it out yourself! You may also choose where you would like to collect your prescription by indicating in the free text field before clicking on 'make request'. Once you have made your request and depending on where you wish to collect your prescription, the whole process takes 2 working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
Requests sent through EMISaccess are very secure using 128-bit secure socket layer technology.

Ordering your repeat prescription the conventional way:
You may also order your repeat prescription the conventional way by detaching the right-hand side of the script which can be posted to the surgery or put in one of the three prescription boxes that can be found at the entrance to the surgery. All prescriptions are now given to Mr Patel at Perfucare Pharmacy, Kirkdale for collection by patients. If you would rather collect the prescription yourself from the surgery, please indicate on your request. If you would like the prescription posted back to you please enclose a stamped self addressed envelope.

Please allow 2 working days excluding weekends and bank holidays. If your request is put in after 10:30am it will not be dealt with until the following day. Repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the phone.

We need to review your medication regularly. If we have not done this in the past 6 months we will ask you to attend for a review. This is for your own best healthcare and safety. A reminder will be entered onto your repeat prescription asking you to make an appointment.

Please also note: It is not possible to obtain the contraceptive pill or HRT on repeat prescription as it is necessary for your blood pressure to be checked before receiving further supplies. This is particularly the case if your blood pressure has not been checked within the last 6 months.
