Appointments

All surgeries and clinics operate an appointment system.  In common with many practices we operate an advanced access system.  We only have a limited number of pre-booked doctor’s appointments as this allows us to significantly reduce our wasted appointments due to patients booking and not attending.  Each day we also offer our patients an appointment on the day if they feel they cannot wait for the next pre-booked appointment.  If you ring between 8.00am and 10.00am Mon-Fri we guarantee you an appointment on the day.  Our telephone lines open at 8.00am and priority is given to patients who book appointments by phone. We would ask patients to phone the surgery for appointments wherever possible.

Please remember because we operate telephone appointments, our lines are very busy between 8.00am and 11.00am.  If your call is not urgent it would be appreciated if you could ring between 10.00am – 12.00 mid-day and 2.00pm – 3.00pm.

Bookable appointments are available from 8.30am – 9.00am (Mon-Fri) and 2.30pm – 5.30pm (Mon, Tues, Weds & Fri).

Extended Opening Hours

Monday and Thursday pre-booked appointments 7.20am to 8.00am
Tuesday pre-booked appointments 6.30pm – 8.00pm
Two Saturdays per month pre-booked appointments 8.10am to 9.30am.

Each day there are a number of appointments where the doctor can give you advice over the telephone.  Please ask for a telephone appointment and the doctor will telephone you during pre-booked telephone appointment slots.

All Telephone calls are recorded for patient and staff security and your protection.
